Overall Pointscore Trophy

The Overall Pointscore Trophy is awarded to the winners of the Men's and Ladies' pointscore in each season.  Within the Club's pointscore system, points are gained for personal improvement, so these are probably the Club's most prestigious and hard-won trophies.

In the 1976/77 season the club honoured the late long serving committee member, Sid Ferrier, by renaming the "Most Improved trophy" as the "Sid Ferrier Most Improved Trophy".  Sid had recently passed away at the time.  This trophy remained in place throughout the 80's but for some reason was lost at some point in time.

Although the present Overall Pointscore Trophy has not been named after Sid Ferrier it should be recognised here that this trophy truely represents the "Most Improved" and is therefore inexplicably linked with the late Sid Ferrier.
